HOLY TREM-OLY!
my unfortunate 9th grade music teacher generously invited us to bring music for the class to listen to every friday. i attended a rather prim and proper british school at the time, and much to her chagrin we'd bring in these rather hideously fantastic songs.
to this day oz and michael have the most exasperatingly impressive squeezebox harmonic tone; they are the peerless tom scholz sausages of christian rock.

recycling an old photo flash gun case into a tremolo unit.exquisite, sparing use of trem, and the baritone guitar is a nice character in the story. you really can't go wrong with gary louris, mark olson's harmonies are gorgeous too.

it's really evident as this performance progresses and goes defcon that paul just genuinely really loves to play guitar. i don't think he's any less excited than when he was a kid. least jaded person on the planet, really.
